T-Shirt Design Contest!

 

Chemistry and Biochemistry undergrad and grad students – your design could be chosen for the official department t-shirt!
Submissions accepted until November 15th.

Winner receives $50 and free t-shirt with their design!

 

 

- Must be an undergraduate or graduate of the Chemistry or Biochemistry department to enter and vote.
- Files must be in .ai (Illustrator), .psd (Photoshop) or .pdf (Acrobat) file format
- Resolution minimum of 300 dpi required, 600 dpi preferred
- Submitted images can be two colors – 1. color of t-shirt 2. color of the design (use Pantone® Matching System for design color).
- The following UT trademarks and logos may not be used:  Seal design, tower design, Hook em Horns®, Bevo,®, Lady Longhorns®, Longhorn Silhouette, running mascot caricature, longhorn caricature, Helmet logo, Texas w/ longhorn design, Hook em hand sign, Hook em™, Get Hooked™, Horns™.
- Designs must be Chemistry and Biochemistry Department themed and academically-oriented.
-Selection process – 10 design finalists will be chosen by the department and then voted on by Chemistry and Biochemistry undergrads. Voting will take place in the Chairman’s Office (WEL 2.310) starting November 22nd and ending December 12th.  Each undergrad can vote only once and must provide their student ID at time of voting. The design to receive the most votes will be sent to the screen printer. The winner will receive a free shirt with their design.
- T-shirts will go on sale Spring 2012. More information to follow.
